Job Description

  • Support Manager and Director of Financial Accounting and Reporting to perform financial accounting, consolidation, review and reporting
  • Performing calculation for Transfer Pricing
  • Preparation of quarterly financials for US entities
  • Analyze and perform accounting for Insurance and Litigation
  • Liaising with US Tax team for Transfer Pricing and US Quarterly Financials related matters
  • Completion of Quarterly Controller Package – to identify and resolve/clean up any long outstanding or invalid items
  • Completion of Financials Statement during year end
  • Perform review and reconciliation of IFRS 16 for submission to Singapore Group GFAR
  • Assist and coordinate between VA Team and IFRS 16 team to ensure that vessels’ related ROU & LL are accounted for appropriately
  • Review of accounting for Corporate Liner
  • Submission of commitment schedules for Group reporting
  • Responsible for respective sections’ periodic submission to Group
  • Attend to any ad hoc request and contribute to problem solving for ad hoc issues which arise during period close

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor Degree or Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting.
  • Professional Degree in Accounting (CPA, ACCA & CA etc.) is preferred
  • 5 years of working experience (2-3 years in audit)
  • Proficient in accounting standard Experience in SAP, BPC or equivalent
  • Consolidation tools highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Words
  • Strong team player, dedicated, meticulous with strong analytical skills, ability to solve urgent matters and work under pressure
  • Team player with ability to work independently, good analytical skills with attention to detail, proactive
