Job Description

  • Suggest and implement improvements in the Axapta system processes
  • Enforce on the process automation in AX system
  • Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on appropriate system
  • Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
  • Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures
  •  Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
  • Hold the ownership and responsibility on the defined and filtered the unnecessary area as and when system baseline updates
  • Input and hold responsibility for departments budget responsible for achieving budget and forecast
  • Prepare the annual budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with legal standards. Manage the budget from identification to completion of projects
  • Work as part of the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimise results and improve quality of delivery, in line with quality standards requirements delivery in line with Company and Customer requirements
  • Provide inspired leadership for the organization by motivate and coach the team to operational success
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
  • Monitor and define the employee productivity and knowledge level on each individual responsibility
  • Restructure the team structure as and when needed
  • Have a proper judgement in upward communication on employee concerns
  • Managing and developing employee via coaching, mentoring and building required skills sets and ensure the team members are adequately resourced to perform
  • Have a proper evaluation on employee competency level professionally without favour and prejudices
  • Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility
  • Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess on-going performance of direct reports
  • Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including management of and reporting
  • Review, implement and update company records e.g. training matrices, performance reviews, risk assessments
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
  • Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
  • Report to top management on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement.
  • Conduct periodic management review meetings.
  • Communicate with stakeholders the impact of market change and potential effects on engineering design and development. Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimising cost
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve quality issues
  • Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact
  • Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors
  • Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department
  • Focus on growing business and revenue by implementing necessary changes to product/production line to enter new markets or grow existing territories.
  • Liaise with other department to formulate objectives and understand requirements
  • Monitor production to resolve issues
  • Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
  • Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
  • Ensure output meets quality standards
  • Analyse budgets and continuously control production costs and identify/rectify waste measures.
  • Manage all activities within the production process, including maintenance and the workforce.
  • Handle logistics, warehousing and stock of raw materials used in production.
  • Ensure the department achieve the defined On Time Delivery
  • Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy
  • Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner

  • improving the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the process
  • Forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.
  • Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance.
  • Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
  • Monitor external affairs or events affecting business operations.
  • Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or receiving.
  • Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow.
  • Analyse information about supplier performance or procurement program success.
  • Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows.
  • Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
  • Design or implement plant warehousing strategies for production materials or finished products.

Job Requirement

  • At least 7 years of relevant working experience.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to perform a wide range of duties
  • Able to bring in new idea and change management to the operation.
