Few days before I received a job application from a job seeker who’s currently working as a freelancer. She was once worked as an executive in a reputable organization for years and started to work as a freelancer as she was tired of the 9 to 6 and would like to try something out of her routine job. After several months she realised that she couldn’t sustain her living expenses due to unstable income.
After we gone through a job matching process, I found a permanent position that suits with her working history and shared with her. Besides, I advised her not to have high salary expectation or being choosy when applying for job. She then agreed with what I said and would like to proceed with her application.
A day later she came back to me that she decided to withdraw her job application after discussion with her family. The reason she provided was, she is unable to commit the working hours due to some family issue.
Job seekers, please get yourself ready to be committed to your job before you send out your job application.
Lesson learned :
Nothing Happen Without Commitment
