Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and support team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolutions
  • Conducting training of team members to maximize their potential.
  • Delegating tasks to team members.
  • Empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills.
  • Conducting quarterly performance reviews.
  • Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems.
  • Oversee materials and inventory.
  • Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management.
  • To manage order fulfilment process including order entry, administration, and shipping in a timely, efficient manner.
  • To ensure orders are processed in accordance with the organization’s service standards.
  • Coordinate supply chain effectively and liaise with suppliers and customers on orders, storage and logistics.
  • Plan shipping and deliveries in a timely manner and ensuring customers are well informed with the accurate information from time to time.
  • Working closely with Logistics Service Providers (LSP) to ensure prompt shipments and delivery to customer’s places; ensuring all customer’s orders are being delivered; delivery status reports are received on time and accuracy of inventory reports from all warehouses within the region.
  • Collects, interprets and analyze various types of logistics data including: –

➢ Customer’s history orders, back orders and order fulfilment metrics.
➢ Shipping lead time and cost, forecast ordering’s metric and inventory holding.
➢ Reliability and cost effectiveness of 3PL warehouse, transport and delivery.
➢ Other data related to supply chain management, warehousing and distribution.

  • Review logistics and deliveries processes and procedures; identifies, recommends and implements improvement to maximize delivery efficiency while minimizing operational related costs.
  • Review and work together with other departments to overcome inventory issues such as back orders, and other fulfilment metrics.
  • Resolve any discrepancy or errors and issues with suppliers, customers and LSP companies.
  • Maintain a good record system where past and present shipping & orders activities can be easily retrieved.

 

Job Requirement

  • Min 7 – 10 years experiences and background in
    ✓ Supply Chain Management, including planning, operations management, process and systems improvement; exposure to
    ✓ Shipping and Logistics handling and international trades requirements.
    ✓ Knowledge of 3PL/4PL service providers.
  • Familiar with payments for import of goods can be made under letters of credit (LC), documentary collections (documents against payment (DP) or documents against acceptance (DA) terms) or advance payment (AP) terms.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact with different levels of people, detail oriented, self-driven and flexible to change.
  • Ability to ‘think out of the box’ for problem solving and ability to contribute ideas to address operation issues.
  • Strong skills in budget development and oversight.
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service.
  • Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes.
  • Knowledge of business productivity software and an aptitude for learning new applications.
  • Familiar with manufacturing/rubber industry operations management (internal financial statement that businesses use to track their production costs, materials used, and inventory levels).
  • Able to write and speak well in both Mandarin and English, as the role require to communicate frequently with China principal and overseas customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, especially Microsoft Excel (familiar with intermediate skills such as Pivot Table, Vlookup) and Powerpoint.
