Job Description
Design Engineer :
- Design and develop jigs and fixtures for electronic products to ensure machining precision and efficiency.
- Participate in NPI (New Product Introduction) jig evaluation and optimization; support trial and mass production.
- Prepare technical drawings and documentation to meet process requirements.
- Follow up on jig manufacturing, assembly, and debugging; resolve on-site usage issues.
Design Assistant :
- Prepare 2D drawings (AutoCAD) or simple 3D models (SolidWorks/UG) based on engineer requirements.
- Verify drawing details such as dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.
- Track jig production progress and coordinate with the production team for on-time delivery.
- Communicate design requirements with internal teams and suppliers; take meeting notes and track progress items
PCB Mounding / Depanelling Jig Design:
- Design and develop PCB mounting and depaneling jigs; optimize structures for precision and efficiency.
- Follow up on jig fabrication and testing; resolve structural design issues during operation.
Job Requirement
Design Engineer :
- Diploma/Bachelor’s in Mechanical Design, Automation, or related field with solid mechanical design fundamentals.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other 2D/3D design software.
- Understanding of electronic product manufacturing processes; jig design experience is a plus.
Design Assistant :
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Excel (BOM organization), and PowerPoint (report preparation).
- Basic engineering knowledge (mechanical, structural, or electronic design); able to interpret technical drawings and standards.
PCB Mounding / Depanelling Jig Design:
- Experience in PCB jig design; proficient in SolidWorks for 3D/2D modeling.
- Understanding of PCB manufacturing processes (SMT, depaneling) and able to optimize jig structures (e.g., positioning accuracy, anti-scratch design).
- Ability to test and iterate jig designs based on feedback to enhance stability and usability.
