This position provides front-line direct support to the Director and Managers of Group Financial Accounting & Reporting in the following functions / duties:
Manage all group accounting, reporting and audit functions to ensure that the reporting requirements of the Group are met
Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination within the finance community
Establish and maintain effective business relations with external auditors
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all financial close activities and submission of reports in accordance with Group closing timeline, guidelines and policies
Perform periodic review and variance analysis for key profit/loss and balance sheet items.
Provide support to management for ad-hoc projects undertaken by the Group
Interact with colleagues from other departments in the preparation of financial reports and delivery of financial information

Degree in Accountancy/Finance. Possess a recognised professional qualification
Minimum 2-5 years relevant working experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or a public listed company
Solid understanding of both corporate and operational accounting issues
Provide outstanding financial and managerial reports for decision making purposes; equally capable of making decisions based upon these reports
Knowledge of Singapore, US and International Accounting Standards and Principles, its implications and applications
Dedicated, meticulous with an eye for details and sound analytical and problem-solving abilities
Able to work effectively in a team
Good knowledge on Microsoft office skills
Strong communication skills and team player with ability to work independently
Ability to work under time pressure
