Job Responsibilities
- Create, prepare, review and edit all contracts.
- Craft, evaluate, negotiate and execute a wide variety of different contracts covering a range of transactions.
- Troubleshoot contract-related problems, such as breach of contract.
- Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension or renewal according to what’s best for the company.
- Execute project planning functions for projects and business operations – project scheduling, schedule monitoring, schedule reporting, schedule performance, schedule analysis & forecasting, schedule risk including validation of critical path, completion dates, project schedule baselining and communicating the schedule.
- Execute project cost estimating and budgeting functions – cost budgeting, cost monitoring, cost reporting, cost performance, cost analysis forecasting, cost risk including validation of cost estimates (client and contractors), time-cost trade off, project cost baselining and communicating the budget.
- Lead, manage and drives the execution of Change management (tracking the progress and close out of change/ variation orders) and Claims (disputed claims, extension of time, acceleration, prolongation etc) which are critical to ensure the project risk and opportunities are mitigated/ pursued as per contract.
- Lead, manage and drives the execution of identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and quantifying the project contract risk and opportunities.
- Provide advice and guidance to the teams relating to contract.
- Solve any contract-related problems that may arise with other parties and internally with the company itself.
- Manage vendors and subcontractor relationship with the ultimate goals of improving cost to optimize projects profit margin.
Job Requirement

A well-developed verbal and written communication skill is required to work with a wide range of different people such as subcontractors, contractors, architects, and suppliers

Technical understanding of construction, since he or she must possess knowledge of building codes, trade sequencing, and best construction practices

Excellent problem-solving skills

A strong sense of judgment to make major decisions for construction projects and also understand the implication of the choice

With 8 years of professional work experience in construction background
-
Able to lead and work with minimum supervision

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Science, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or any other relevant field.

Knowledge in ISO 9001 : 2000 is added advantage.
