Job Description
- Develop and oversee financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with organizational objectives
 - Perform financial analysis to support decision-making and recommend strategies to improve profitability.
 - Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and records in compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, MFRS).
 - Oversee general ledger activities, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
 - Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational and investment needs
 - Manage banking relationships, foreign exchange transactions, and treasury operations.
 - Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax regulations, including corporate tax, GST/SST, and withholding tax filings
 - Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to address inquiries and audits.
 - Monitor and control operating expenses to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
 - Evaluate and implement cost-saving measures to enhance financial efficiency.
 - Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
 - Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
 - Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to enhance their technical and managerial capabilities
 - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the finance department.
 - Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with business goals
 - Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic initiatives.
 - Manage and optimize financial systems, including ERP software, to streamline processes and reporting.
 - Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial systems.
 
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
 - Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
 - At least 7–10 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, with 3–5 years in a managerial role.
 - Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering, or multinational environments is an advantage.
 - Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
 - Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and budgeting
 - Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
 - Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across functions and with stakeholders.
 - Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex financial problems and provide actionable insights.
 - High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
 - Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
 - Strong understanding of global financial trends and economic conditions.
