Job Description
- To oversee and ensure utilization, repair, maintenance and upgrading of
construction plant & equipment within the organization. - To coordinate workshop activities.
- To also be responsible for the recommendation, planning and purchase of
plant / equipment and machineries. - To ensure that all construction plant and equipment are properly
maintained, repaired and upgraded to meet the needs of the projects. - To recommend and be responsible for the disposal of construction
equipment. - To ensure efficient and effective plant and machinery movement, repairs
and servicing of equipment. - To produce / purchase spare parts and stocks.
- To fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools.
- To measure, examine and test completed units in order to detect defects
and ensure conformance to specifications
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering & Construction Equipment
Management. - Good supervisory, organizing and planning skills as well as able to lead and
motivate a team of technical support personnel. - A proactive and mature person with initiative, integrity as well as possess
strong leadership qualities and a drive to excel. - Effective decision making skills.
