 Job Description

  • This position is responsible for GL function of Company Business Unit for two key regions, Southeast Asia and South Asia and oversees a team of 10 – 12 staff.
  • A self-starter who is technically strong in accounting standards and experienced in share services centre environment.
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding SLA, customer satisfaction and metrics as well as compliance to corporate policies and local legal requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage the GL functions in accordance to corporate, regional and/or local requirements including but not limited to financial and management reporting, analysis and review of performance by the assigned BU, yearly budgeting process, ad-hoc projects, proper maintenance of accounting records etc in timely and accurate manner.
  • Excellent business collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a broad and diverse group of stakeholders within our global organization.

Job Requirement

  • At least Bachelor Degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting/Finance (CPA / ACCA)
  • At least 8-10 years of relevant working experience with 3 years of managerial experience in a Financial Shared Service Centre for MNC
  • Preferably have experience in audit or logistics industry
  • Good working knowledge of IFRS and tax rules
  • Self-motivated, resulted orientated and demonstrate a decisive coaching leadership style
  • Good perspective in achieving results both short and long term
  • Strong advocate of continuous improvement opportunities with ability to drive standardization
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment with a good command of spoken and written English
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), experienced in SAP or other ERP accounting software
