Job Description
- Instill a strong company culture from the ground up
- Formulate business strategy with department heads
- Design policies that align with company overall goals and strategy
- Implement efficient processes and standards
- Coordinate customer service operations and find ways to ensure customer retention
- Ensure compliance with local and international laws (e.g. data protection)
- Oversee the implementation of technology solutions throughout the organization
- Manage or oversee contracts and relations with customers, vendors, partners and other stakeholders
- Evaluate risk and lead quality assurance efforts
- Oversee expenses and budgeting to help the organization optimise costs and benefits
- Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement
- Report on operational performance and suggest improvements
Job Requirement
- A magnetic personality with great interpersonal and communication skills
- Good time-management skills
- A driver and a team player
- 3 years of experience as Head of Operations or similar position at a technology based startup company
- Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines
- Knowledge of industry latest trends and best practices
- In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles such as supply chain, finance, customer service, human resources etc.)
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- Familiarity with Google Docs and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM)
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
