Job Description

  • Instill a strong company culture from the ground up
  • Formulate business strategy with department heads
  • Design policies that align with company overall goals and strategy
  • Implement efficient processes and standards
  • Coordinate customer service operations and find ways to ensure customer retention
  • Ensure compliance with local and international laws (e.g. data protection)
  • Oversee the implementation of technology solutions throughout the organization
  • Manage or oversee contracts and relations with customers, vendors, partners and other stakeholders
  • Evaluate risk and lead quality assurance efforts
  • Oversee expenses and budgeting to help the organization optimise costs and benefits
  • Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement
  • Report on operational performance and suggest improvements


Job Requirement

  • A magnetic personality with great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • A driver and a team player
  • 3 years of experience as Head of Operations or similar position at a technology based startup company
  • Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines
  • Knowledge of industry latest trends and best practices
  • In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles such as supply chain, finance, customer service, human resources etc.)
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Familiarity with Google Docs and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM)
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
