Job Description

  • Research & Development – R&D/Technical support for New product development, long term research and existing products improvement.
  • Application Development – Supporting the commercial and technical growth of oils & fats, Food Ingredients and Functional system solutions business and technical development across worldwide.
  • Lead R&D, Applications and Technical Services team in different parts of worldwide operations like South East Asia, China, South Asia and Middle East regions.
  • Lead R&D and Technical team to provide technical support for The Company functional food ingredients, specialty and innovative solutions worldwide and focus areas are Asia Pacific region, Gulf region and India subcontinent.
  • Manage core customer base of Industrial customers, Food service, bakery, snack, confectionery, Dairy/Non-Dairy clients. Regular visits to key customers with sales team to provide technical support and updates.
  • Lead project management, Stage and gate process, Prioritization, Project pipeline, New product launch and Innovations according to strategy.
  • One-point lead connects with Sales and marketing team, Commercial team and Operation team to drive company strategy and achieve sales targets.
  • Training and development of R&D team and applications team and regular information and knowledge towards market trends.
  • Training and development of Technical team for sensory science and processes.
  • Continuous Technical Training programs for Sales & Marketing team on specialty fats and food ingredients solutions, R&D & Application know-how, sensory science and new products technical knowledge
  • Working upon Taste & health concepts, Indulgence and cost optimization projects.
  • Working closely with specialty ingredients and flavour house for Innovations and ideation.
  • Manage and established knowledge centre for product applications knowledge worldwide for sales, marketing and technical groups.

Job Requirement

  • BSc/BA/MSc/PhD in Food Science or Food Technology at least 12-15 years of track record similar experiences preferrably from Palm Oil Refinery or Bakery & Confectionery background
  • Strong Technical,Product Development and process Skills
