Job Description
- Be a leader in initiating, planning, managing, and executing operations, and technical service support to internal and external customers/organizations.
- Leading seven divisions – Production, Planning, Customer Service, Purchasing, Maintenance, Facility, Logistics & Warehousing departments.
- Develops initiatives to achieve manufacturing, quality, and safety standard goals.
- Leads continuous improvement efforts and projects to refine production methods and processes to produce quality products that meet customer requirements in the most cost-effective manner.
- Driving lean management activities.
- Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs.
- Ensures timely response to operations issues impacting customer satisfaction.
- Review production processes and procedure to ensure they operate at highest possible efficiency.
- Oversee the hiring and training of operations personnel to ensure a capable workforce.
- Prepare and submit to upper management regular reports of plant operations.
Job Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master’s Degree, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years total experience, with minimum 5 years as a leader in production/operation/manufacturing of a plant or factory.
- Experience in metal component manufacturing ( for automotive and consumer electronics ) and fast-moving manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
- Prefer experience of working in the similar roles at Singapore and US companies. Capable to manage 500 people in 3-5 years.
- Experience in driving cross functional team to change process and drive improvement actions.
- A self-starter, hands-on person and willing to multitask and to take on additional responsibilities.
- Strong management skill, aggressive, leadership and result oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge in ERP / OEE / TPM system will be added advantage.
- Good command of both English/Mandarin (communication with China plant) and MS office skills.
