Job Description
- Responsible for the ongoing purchasing and sourcing activities that could generate more cost-saving for the company.
- Perform supplier sourcing, evaluation, assessment and selection, negotiation, performance monitoring, vendor relationship management and continuous improvement for the company.
- Liaise closely with forwarding agencies for all custom-related issues (Export and Import permit application).
- Provide feedback to suppliers and follow up on the arising issues regarding quality, shortage, and warranty claim.
- Executing the process of application to obtain Duty & Sales Tax Exemption for all import materials
- To follow up the delivery of raw materials for factory.
- To help up on the payment issue and communicate with supplier.
- Update stock listing ie; warehouse stock, office pantry item and etc
- Any other duties as may be assigned by Management from time to time
Job Requirement
- Candidate must possess a Diploma/Degree in Bussiness Administration/relevant fields or its equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years working experience in Purchasing is required.
- Computer literacy with mastery in Microsoft Excel functions is a must.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills will be an added advantage.
- Profieciency in English and Mandarin is required.
- Able to communicate effectively and have good interpersonal skills.
- Able to work as part of a team and under minimal supervision.
- Able to start work immediately is an added advantage.
