Job Description
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members within and across business units to leverage internal product knowledge and expertise for optimum efficiency.
● Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives.
● Design and create test cases and scripts to address business and technical use cases.
● Work closely with developers to identify test criteria and develop automated tests.
● Lead and develop the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using Robot framework, Jmeter, Python, Shell script.
● Cooperate with developers to improve the testing mindset and quality built-in process.
● Perform both manual and automation testing.
● Participate in the architecture and design of a feature early in the development cycle, influencing it to drive quality and adherence to specifications.
● Create documentation for the QA process e.g. Test Case and Test Report.
● Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work.
● Own continuous improvement for existing and new processes.
● All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirement
- Relevant work experience in development and/or testing roles.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Strong ability in analyzing requirements and detecting quality risks when requirements changed.
● Good technical background and an understanding of software testing.
● Able to analyze business requirements and turn it into enough test coverage.
● Good development/scripting skills in common languages like Python, JAVA, Shell script, etc.
● Knowledge of SQL to query data from databases.
● Knowledge of UI and API testing.
● Knowledge of automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, Jmeter, etc.
● Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or OpenShift.
● Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
● Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated.
● Knowledge of Performance testing is an added advantage.
● Experience with some common QA testing tools and best practices.
● Strong desire to be part of a team and build great products.
