Job Description

  • Staff & Development
    • Recruit, train and manage a team of good Sales Assistant, Assistant Branch Manager, Branch Manager and District Manager.
    • Develop a training program that can perpetuate itself through the hierarchy of the retail setup.
    • Set up standard procedure of good HR practices for training and development of all service staff.
    • Motivate and maintain a high level of morale and positive culture among the team.

    Sales

    • Establish Annual Sales and P&L Budget for Retail Division.
    • Ensuring agreed sales and profit targets are met.
    • Setting target for each branch and/or to each subordinate.
    • Motivate & periodically review the system of incentive rewards to ensure that the system is encouraging as well as challenging to staff.

    Retail Presentation & Operations

    • Organize good retail presentation including visual merchandising.
    • Manage the coordination of the supply chain including stock movements to/from warehouse and inter branch transfers.
    • Ensure the security of the company’s assets i.e. inventory, property and cash collection.
    • Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry.

    Performance Indicators

    • Establish and maintain performance indicators expected from branches and staff, and also to the
    • management on weekly, monthly & YTD basis.
    • Ensuring such Performance Indicators are maintained, monitored and variances are reacted upon.

    Retail Compliance

    • A comprehensive of retail compliance based on retailing requirements with industry standards, SOPs, policies, guidelines, employee handbooks etc.

     

Job Requirement

  • Preferably with more than Five (5) years working experience in retail operations or in other related managerial position.
  • Experienced or passionate in fast moving consumer goods retail operations.
  • Knowledge of retail management best practices.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent organizing and leadership skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of retail management software.
