Job Responsibilities

A) LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT- RECRUITING
  • Develop yearly Learning & Development plan and budget for management approval.
  • Responsible for the delivery of end-to-end Learning & Development (L&D) programs including sourcing of training providers, training coordination with relevant parties, analysis of training effectiveness and etc.
  • Work closely with the business unit in the recruitment process, including formulating job descriptions, effective ways to source the required talent, initial screening of candidates and coordinating the end-to-end interview process.
  • Assist in driving training needs analysis with Head of Departments/Seniors to better gauge training needs among employees.
  • Conduct candidate background checking (previous company).
  • Monitor HRDC grant matters such as HRDC grant application, claim status and etc.
  • Ensure the accuracy of training information in the HR system and generate report for analysis purpose.
B) CREATING A CONDUCTIVE & POSITIVE WORKING ENVIRONMENT
  • Develop yearly “Employee Engagement” plan and budget for management approval.
  • Responsible to plan, direct, and coordinate human resource management activities to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as employee compensation, recruitment, personnel policies, insurance and regulatory compliance.
  • Main Focus: Strong Knowledge of functional human resources discipline, including HR Statutory Compliance, Grievance Handling, Talent Management
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Ensuring HR compliance, safeguarding employee relations, and maintaining frameworks and company policies aligned to the local legislation.
  • Strong knowledge of local labour regulations and laws. Liaise with Labour Department, IR Department and Government office pertaining to employee related issue and Malaysia Labor Law.
  • To prevent accidents, infections, injuries and property loss due to natural causes or daily life circumstances.
  • Ability to proactively identify and recommend new approached, policies, and procedures guidance to employees and management for continuous improvements.
  • Maintaining and developing HR handbooks and policies, ensuring these are up to date and aligned with labour laws standards.
  • Be the person that team members will be willing to talk to when encountering workrelated issues and offer relevant assistance.
  • To advise and implement standard Human Resource practices and policies to facilitate Human Resource Management in the company.
  • To manage the KPI/ staff appraisal/disciplinary and evaluation process together with the management.
  • You will be required to monitor staff attendance and leaves taken by employees and daily operations of HR functions.
  • Design, plan and coordinate team events (yearly) and fun activities (weekly/monthly).
  • Ensure timely execution of engagement activities.
  • Coordination of employee engagement activities including Singapore and
  • Indonesia staffs with arrangement and etc.
  • You will be required to undertake any other duties as assigned by superior and management.
  • Involve in general HR and Admin tasks.
C) MONTH-END PAYROLL
  • Process monthly payroll, statutory payment and other HR/Finance-related matters.
  • You need to work closely with the Account Manager/ Senior level to assist in payroll report/process.
  • Liaise with government bodies pertaining to statutory issues/compliances such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB etc.
  • Requirements: Handle full spectrum of payroll processing, including computing wages, allowances, bonus, checking attendance, upkeep employee files.
  • Additional tasks/support with other HR-related tasks when needed.
  • Keep soft copy of payroll report & filing (hard-copy).
  • Payroll report submitted on time based on cut-off date.

Job Requirement

  • Poven record and experience as a Senior HR Executive.
  • A people person with strong communication skills. Able to maintain an effective
    working relationship with colleagues.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and human relations skills.
  • Hands-on recruitment experience (candidate sourcing, interview, reference check etc).
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of personal integrity, a role model for others.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; high attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently under pressure, multi-task and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Well-versed in Employment Act and other relevant labours laws and HR best practices.
  • High confidentiality and ability to manage confidential employees’ information.
  • Possess strong people’s skill with to communicate and work with all levels of people of different cultures.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Team player with good problem-solving ability
  • Able to determine priorities and organize work for maximum delivery result.
  • Willing to work long hours- based on priorities, urgency & job tasks.
  • Familiar with HR System – INFOTECH is added advantage.
  • Experience in handle employee compensation & benefits will be added advantage.
  • Possess at least 5-6 years of relevant experiences.
  • Diploma/ Professional Degree Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • Required language (s): English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin.
  • Required Skill (s): Infotech system, Microsoft Office & Power Point
