H is working in her current company for 4.5 years in the same department. 2 years after she joined the company, she applied for internal transfer as she would like to learn other job role than her current. Unfortunately, other departments didn’t have any extra headcounts and rejected her application.
In the same situation, many of my candidates choose to resign with the reason of looking for career progression. However, H decided to stay with her current company until now and perform the similar jobs role.
Few days ago, I recommended her to my client for a new vacancy. She received immediate offer during the interview as Hiring Manager able to feel her loyalty from her past employment history.
Looking for better career development is good, but loyalty to a company is one of the concerns of current employers as well.
Lesson learned :
Loyalty Is Always Be Rare And Hard To Find.
