There was once during a phone interview session, an interviewee was asked by HR regarding his reason for leaving the previous company. At the first place, he mentioned that it was due to personal matters.
The HR then further questioned about the real reason behind. He then started to complain about his previous company recklessly. Besides, HR found that he has bad attitude and doesn’t mince his words during the conversation. The phone interview session was unpleasant and fulled of negativity.
End up, HR decided to drop his application as HR believed that he might be the employee that will spread the negative office gossip and will influence others too.
Never badmouth your ex-employer. It will reflects negatively on your personalities, even fail for the interview.
Lesson learned :
Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.
